As a theme for the wedding we originally went with a Forest theme, because of our mutual love of trees and nature in general. We also wanted to make sure Harry Potter was as big a part of the wedding as possible because of the impact it’s had on both our lives; indeed we would never have met without it. So we’ve extended it to be a “Forbidden Forest” theme in honour of Harry Potter. If you don’t know why that’s in honour of Harry Potter, then you should read (or re-read) the books… and about time too!
For a colour scheme we decided to go with green and purple (most likely dark purple and lighter green, though the details are still to be decided), the same colour scheme as this website. These are two of our favourite colours and definitely the best choice for our wedding.
